How is Email Privacy Compromised?
Email systems are flawed today. Email clients and email service providers can read users' email communication. They are vulnerable to data breaches, and 3rd parties can misuse them. Email security is imperative.
Some email service providers use PGP (Pretty Good Privacy), through which users can only secure the body of the email, leaving the subject line, which carries critical information about the email unencrypted. However, searching encrypted emails is inconvenient in PGP-based emails. Hence, the usability and convenience of such email systems are compromised.
